Ohio Lawmakers restore funding to budget.A victory for General Aviation was gained when Gov. Strickland signed legislation restoring funding for the state's airport grant agreement program as part of the final 2 year budget. The state House and Senate restored nearly three-fourths of the program's funding - considering that just a month before, the Senate had proposed cutting the entire 2 year program that provides money for runway and taxiway maintenance and obstruction removal.
